Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the generator from the car.

2. For simplification of assemblage of the generator put a combination label on a forward and back cover of the generator.

3. Unscrew a nut, крепящую a generator pulley to a rotor axis, and remove a pulley.

4. Unscrew 4 coupling bolts (are specified by arrows), connecting forward and back cover of the generator.

5. Remove a forward cover of the generator.

6. Remove a generator rotor.

7. Unscrew nuts (are specified by arrows) fastenings of a back casing of the generator.

8. Remove a back casing of the generator.

9. Unscrew screws (are specified стрелвами) fastenings of plates with diodes.

10. Remove щеткодержатель from plates with diodes.

11. Remove a pressure regulator.

12. Remove a plate with diodes with статора the generator.

Check

Check of serviceability of diodes

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Using an ohmmeter, check up resistance between contact rings of the generator. Resistance between contact rings of the generator should make some Ohm.

2. Check up resistance between contact rings of the generator and a generator rotor. Thus resistance should be equal to infinity.

3. Check up resistance between the central contact and each winding статора. In case of winding breakage статора статор it is necessary to replace.

4. Check up serviceability of diodes. Thus change polarity щупов at connection to the diode. In one case the ohmmeter should show small resistance, and in the second case very high resistance (fig. Check of serviceability of diodes see).

Assemblage

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Assemblage is made in sequence, return to removal.

2. Before installation щеткодержателя move brushes in щеткодержатель and a wire fix them in this position. After installation of a forward and back cover on the generator and connections by their coupling bolts take a wire keeping brushes of the generator.
