Check of resistance of the gauge of position of a cranked shaft

Gauges represent a magnet, from above on which the coil with a wire is established. The steel disk established on cranked and distributive shaft has teeths at which passage about a gauge magnet the electric impulse in the gauge is created. The gauge signal is used by block ESM for definition of position of a cranked shaft and speed of the car. For gauge check it is necessary to measure resistance of a winding of the gauge.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
For check of an operational mode of the gauge remove the gauge from the car, connect to contacts of the gauge the voltmeter and, turning a gauge drive, observe of voltmeter indications. Fluctuations of indications of the voltmeter show that the gauge creates electromagnetic impulses.
