Check of the gauge of position throttle заслонки

The gauge of position throttle заслонки is a variable resistor which changes resistance depending on an angle of rotation throttle заслонки. The signal from the gauge is used by the computer for definition of position throttle заслонки. For gauge check it is used two diagnostic methods. The first method measure resistance of the gauge depending on position throttle заслонки. The second method checks signal change at moving throttle заслонки.

The first method is used for check of 4 contact gauges established on the car till 1994 (fig. the Gauge of position throttle zaslonki/the switch with 4-mja the contacts, established on model till 1994 see).

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On models till 1994 disconnect an electric socket from the gauge of position throttle заслонки and connect an ohmmeter to contacts 1 and 2 gauges (fig. Check of the gauge of position throttle заслонки see). At completely closed throttle заслонке the ohmmeter should show 0, and at completely open throttle заслонке the ohmmeter should show infinity. Otherwise replace the gauge of position throttle заслонки.
2. Disconnect an electric socket from the gauge of position throttle заслонки. Establish an edge щупа between the screw of a stopper of the case of a throttle and part G (fig. Check of the gauge of position throttle заслонки see). Using an ohmmeter, check up resistance between contacts № 1 and 2 electric sockets. At installation щупа in the thickness of 0,7 mm resistance should be minimum, and at installation щупа 0,9 mm resistance should be equal to infinity.
3. For adjustment ослабьте screws and slowly rotate the gauge while the arrow of an ohmmeter will not change the position. Fix the gauge in this position and, using щупы, repeatedly check up conductivity between contacts 1 and 2.

The second method supervises work of the gauge of position throttle заслонки at engine work. For this purpose it is necessary, without disconnecting a socket from the gauge, to connect to a socket the digital voltmeter.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect negative щуп the voltmeter to contact socket "earth", and positive щуп the voltmeter to contact "signal".
2. Include ignition, without starting the engine and observe of instrument readings which should be in limits 0,5 1,0 In at closed throttle заслонке and 4,5–5 In at completely open throttle заслонке (fig. 3. Disconnect from the gauge of position throttle заслонки an electric socket and, using the voltmeter, check up that on socket contacts there is a pressure 5 Century Otherwise check up an electric chain of the gauge of position throttle заслонки and the management block.
