The prevention

As the gauge is established in a final collector or in an exhaust pipe which is compressed in a cold condition, it can appear difficult enough business to remove the gauge at the cold engine. To reduce risk of damage of the gauge, start the engine for 1–2 minutes and switch off it. At removal of the gauge of oxygen be careful not to burn about hot exhaust pipes.


On models with 1990 for 1994 one gauge of oxygen located in front of the catalyst is established. On models since 1995 two gauges of oxygen are established: one – in front of the catalyst, the second – behind the catalyst.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a wire of weight from the accumulator.
2. Lift the car and fix on supports.
3. Remove heat resisting screens which limit access to the gauge of oxygen and disconnect from the gauge an electric socket.
4. Unscrew the gauge of oxygen from an exhaust pipe.
5. Put on a carving of the gauge the means interfering burning of the gauge, and screw in the gauge in an exhaust pipe.
6. Connect to the gauge an electric socket.
7. Lower the car.
