Check of the gauge of pressure in an inlet collector by means of the manual vacuum pump and the voltmeter


The gauge measures pressure in an inlet collector which changes at loading change on the engine and gives out the information in the form of target pressure. Block ESM uses the information from the gauge of pressure for management of giving of fuel and the ignition moment.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For gauge check include ignition, without starting the engine, and measure the pressure submitted to the gauge which should be equal 5 Century
2. For check of target pressure of the gauge disconnect from the gauge a vacuum hose and connect the manual vacuum pump.
3. Disconnect from the gauge an electric socket and, using the voltmeter, measure pressure on gauge contacts.
4. Creating by means of the manual vacuum pump various vacuum and observing of voltmeter indications, check up size of target pressure of the gauge depending on vacuum size (fig. Check of the gauge of pressure in an inlet collector by means of the manual vacuum pump and the voltmeter see).
5. On the engine with турбонагнетателем check up resistance of the coil of the gauge of pressure which should make from 37 to 48 Century
