The final system consists of a final collector, the catalyst, the muffler, an exhaust pipe and other connecting pipes, arms, suspension brackets and collars. Final systems fastens to the bottom of the car by means of arms of fastening and rubber suspension brackets. If one of these details is damaged or deformed by a consequence presence of noise or the vibration transferred through the bottom of the car.
At repair of final system take advantage of following simple councils:
– Begin work with a back part of the car and move to a forward part;
– Put special means for fastening details to facilitate their removal;
– At installation of details of final system put new linings, suspension brackets and collars;
– At assemblage grease a carving of details of fastening with special structure against jamming;
– Leave a sufficient and uniform backlash between established details and the body bottom.
