11.3.1. Repair of a forward rack

1. Remove a forward rack from the car and fix in a vice with soft sponges.
2. Using the special adaptation, compress a spring so that it has departed from the top part. At use of the special adaptation for compression of springs watch, that spring coils were reliably grasped also spring compression make from opposite sides. The spring has very big effort of compression, therefore use only very reliable tool. At all do not connect a spring a wire.
3. Unscrew the central nut of fastening of a rod of the shock-absorber.
4. Remove the top support of a forward rack.
5. Remove the top nest of a spring from a shock-absorber rod.
6. Remove a spring from a forward rack.
7. Remove the buffer from a shock-absorber rod.
8. Check up all elements of a forward rack on deterioration, damage or deformation. Check up smoothness of a course of a rod of the shock-absorber. Check up the shock-absorber on tightness, and also its rod on dot corrosion on all length.
9. Put forward a shock-absorber rod for all length and establish on it the rubber buffer.
10. Establish a cylindrical spring so that its bottom end has correctly settled down in the bottom nest of a spring.
11. Establish a protective cover and the top nest of a spring.
12. Establish the top support on a rod of the shock-absorber and fix a nut, having tightened its demanded moment.
13. Establish a forward rack on the car.
